On Saturday 16th October in the heart of Hal-Qormi, as part of this year’s Casal Fornaro, over 15 quality wines from Delicata will be available by the glass or bottle. The Delicata Wine Pjazza will be located at the end of Main Street and will consist of five wine stalls offering a selection of D.O.K. and I.G.T. quality wines.

The wines that will be exhibited in Delicata’s Wine Pjazza are; the I.G.T. Maltese Island range of red, white and rose Pjazza Regina; three wines from the ever popular Medina range of D.O.K. Malta wines; three wines from Gozo’s best seller Victoria Heights D.O.K. Gozo; the two indigenous wines of Malta, Gellewza and Girgentina Fizzante; and four other popular wines from Delicata’s range of Classic Collection wines including the popular sweet wine Casella Moscato and the Dolcino rose.

The grape varieties represented throughout this selection of 15 wines include the two unique indigenous varieties Gellewza and Girgentina as well as more recently planted international varieties such as Chardonnay, Viognier, Vermentino, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache and Sangiovese.

Also on sale will be bottles of the Limited Edition own label Casal Fornaro 2008 Shiraz D.O.K. Superior Malta specifically bottled for the event by Delicata.

The event which is on Saturday 16th October starting at 7.00pm celebrates its fourth year and is full of cultural attractions for people of all ages.
