Last week, amongst all the wind, rain, thunder, lightning, flooding and hailstones, Delicata hosted its popular bi-annual ‘thank you’ wine event for all its Gozo clientele and despite the atrocious weather a good turn out was attained. Hundreds of loyal Delicata customers made their way through the stormy conditions to Palazzo Palina at Ta’Cenc Hotel, to enjoy an array of Delicata’s D.O.K and I.G.T. quality wines and a sumptuous buffet of assorted food items.

 All in all 15 wines were freely available for wine enthusiasts to enjoy from successful wine brands such as the award winning Grand Vin de Hauteville, Medina, Pjazza Regina, Delicata’s indigenous Frizzante wines, Girgentina and Gellewza and the island’s very own leading D.O.K. Gozo wine, Victoria Heights. Also on show for the first time in Gozo, was the company’s new sweet D.O.K. Malta Liqueur wine, the Grand Vin de Hauteville Moscato which was served with a variety of desserts.

Many of the guests here tonight have been clients of ours for years and they appreciate the investment and hard work we put in, to keep the quality of our wines at the very top of their game. It is also of tremendous importance that they feel secure in the knowledge that in these days of wine saturation, the Delicata wine brands they handle are successful and popular enough with the consumer, to warrant the valuable space they take up, either on their wine lists or retail shelves.
