Starting from December the 10th from 7.00pm until midnight of the 11th from 11.00 am until 11.00pm, wine lovers can taste up to 15 D.O.K. and I.G.T. quality wines from Delicata for just € 8.00; and that includes a souvenir glass to keep and take home. That is the price of the glass that sports the new recently launched PL logo that people attending their ‘festa ta’ikel u inbid Malti’ need to pay, if they want to drink the wines exhibited at the event.

The 15 quality wines available on the 5 wine stalls include, Medina D.O.K. Malta, Victoria Heights D.O.K. Gozo, Pjazza Regina and Maltese Falcon I.G.T. Maltese Islands, Casella Moscato sweet liqueur wine and Malta’s two indigenous semi sparkling wines, Gellewza and Girgentina Frizzante; all produced by Malta’s award winning winemaker Emmanuel Delicata Winemaker. No person under the age of 17 will be sold a glass or served wine.

The 2 day event which takes place in front of the Partit Laburista Head Office in Hamrun is a family event with live entertainment from performers such as Freddie Portelli, Marisa D’amato, Zoo, Joe Demicoli, Footprints and many more. Three food areas will be operated by Maypole serving pasta dishes and pizza, James Caterers with Maltese platters and Mannarenu with a selection of traditional sweets. The whole area is under canvas.
