At the Delicata winery last week, winners from the Medina Valentines Day competition, who were recently announced at the Delicata Open Day, turned up to collect their prizes.

In first place was Bernadette Lia who won 20 cases of assorted D.O.K. Medina wines, along with the owners of the Rizzu restaurant in Marsaxlokk (who also win 20 cases) which is where she purchased the winning wine from. In second place and winning 15 cases of D.O.K. Medina wine was Rittienne Calleja together with representatives from the San Antonio Hotel in Qawra. Finally in third place and winning 10 cases of D.O.K. Medina was Carole Greenwood together with representatives from the Seaview Hotel in Qawra.
