Emmanuel Delicata entered its first international wine competition in 1995 and out of the five wines entered, four were given awards. Over the next few years, Delicata entered more and more of its wines and has now amassed over sixty international medals for its ever growing range of Maltese wines. Amongst the awards received there are Silver medals from the Concorso Enologico Internazionale in Verona Italy and the prestigious International Wine Challenge in London, England. At the Chardonnay du Monde in Burgundy, France, Delicata's Chardonnay wines have received both Silver and Bronze medals for seven years out of eight, and at the home of Cabernet Sauvignon in Bordeaux France, Delicata's Grand Vin de Hauteville won a Gold and a Silver at the International Challenge du Vin.
