A crisp, refreshing, new white wine has just been released under the Medina brand name, made entirely from Malta grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The wine which has achieved D.O.K. Malta classification status was bottled at the Delicata winery last week. This new wine means that within the Medina range there are now 10 different wines, all unoaked, fresh and fruit driven and all offering great value for money.
This particular 2008 vintage Sauvignon Blanc is an aromatic dry white wine with a crisp level of acidity that makes it the perfect chilled aperitif or accompaniment to fresh fish and seafood dishes as well as poultry, pasta, white meats and summer salads.
Other varieties within the popular Medina range include Chardonnay; Girgentina Chardonnay; Vermentino Zibibbo; Rose Grenache; Merlot; Syrah; Sangiovese; Syrah Grenache Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc. |
