Three white D.O.K wines from the 2010 vintage were released onto the market last week from Delicata’s Medina range. One of the wines is made from a single grape variety Medina Sauvignon Blanc and the other two are the successful Medina blends of Vermentino Zibibbo (whose previous vintage had sold out) and the popular Girgentina Chardonnay. The two blends are classified D.O.K. Malta and the Sauvignon Blanc D.O.K. Superior Malta. Another 2010 Medina white made entirely from Chardonnay will be bottled shortly along with the 2010 Medina Rose Grenache. The five 2010 red Medina D.O.K. Malta wines will be bottled and released in the coming months. There are now ten varietal wines in the Medina range.
