The Delicata Winery is returning with another ‘Swirl & Spoon Soiree’ on the evening of 28 November 2025, at the Marriott Resort and Spa Malta in Saint Julian’s.
This is one in a series of unceremonious wine and bite-sized food degustation events to the tunes of live music in a relaxed atmosphere.
This unique culinary discovery is brought to you by Malta’s award-winning winemaker Delicata and the culinary team of Marriott Resort and Spa Malta , in aid of L’istrina.
A delectable ultra-local wine selection of 6 boutique labels is paired and presented together with 10 equally scrumptious and meticulously prepped spoon-sized dishes that showcase the versatility of pork paired with complementary ingredients inspired by traditional recipes from around the world.
The 10 mini-dish creations are matched with Delicata’s newly released ŻIFFA wines and their brand new spumante called Eskwiżit as well as other quality home-grown and hand-crafted Maltese wines from the winery’s Medina and Gran Cavalier ranges.
The glass and spoon matches have been curated in tandem by Marriott’s Executive Chef Roderick Vella and Delicata’s wine pro Georges Meekers.

Live music throughout the evening will add to the relaxed vibe of this special event.
