WINE TASTING ASSISTANT

Emmanuel Delicata, Malta’s most awarded winemaker, is seeking the immediate employment of a dependable, wine-loving individual to support our tasting sessions at the Delicata winery in Paola, Malta, on selected dates throughout the year.

The role is primarily hands-on, assisting with tasting setup, light food preparation, service of wines and general support during guided sessions led by our presenter.

It is occasional, part-time work suited to someone organised, attentive and comfortable working in a guest-facing environment.

This position would particularly suit sommeliers, hospitality or ITS students, WSET candidates, restaurant service and kitchen brigade staff or other professionals looking to complement their working schedule with extra hours in a wine-focused role.

Working language is English or Maltese. A valid Food Handler’s Certificate is preferred, although it may also be obtained prior to commencement.

The chosen candidate will work under general supervision in a supporting role to sales and marketing personnel. Training shall be provided. Salary would be commensurate with experience.
