Bodvar Nobel Prize PartyThe own label premium wine brand, Bodvar of Sweden, produced by Delicata, was one of the sponsors at the 2013 Nobel Prize award ceremony held last December in Stockholm.

Bodvar of Sweden is a Gellewza Lifestyle Rose Frizzante export wine that has been produced exclusively for Swedish entrepreneur Bodvar Hafstrom by Delicata for over seven years. The wine is sold throughout Sweden’s V.I.P. lounge bar and restaurant sector and has become one of the country’s leading premium sparkling rose wine brands.

The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony was held in the Stockholm Concert Hall and was attended by Nobel laureates in physics, chemistry, medicine and economic science. Carl-Henrik Heldin, Chairman of the Board of Nobel Foundation, addressed the ceremony with a warm welcome to the winners and their families for attending the ceremony in Sweden. Nelson Mandela, who was the Nobel Prize winner in peace in 1993, was honoured in Heldin’s speech.

The Nobel Prize laureates then went on to attend a gala banquet a few blocks away at the Stockholm city hall, followed by what is affectionately known as the ‘Nobel NightCap’.  At this  after-party Bodvar of Sweden Lifestyle Rose (Gellewza Frizzante) flowed throughout the night right into the early hours.

This year’s party was the grandest Nobel NightCap (NNC) ever. It was arranged by the Nobel NightCap Committee at SASSE in cooperation with The Nobel Foundation and hence the party was held at Sveavägen 65.  Attendees at NNC include the Nobel laureates of the year, Swedish Royals, Swedish and international scientists, representatives of the Swedish government, cultural elite and business worlds together with students from all over Sweden.
